Hello, I’m Petko, co-founder and manager of MaxCoworking. Today, I have the pleasure of taking you behind the scenes of our coworking space in the heart of Sofia. Let’s delve into the story of MaxCoworking and how the roots of our digital business led to the creation of a workspace that is more than just desks – it’s an environment driven by its visitors. A bit about me:
I’m 34 years old, and for most of my professional life, I’ve been self-employed, working as a freelancer and entrepreneur. I studied economics at UNWE Sofia, but my passion has always been creating teams. However, not the modern teams who chat in Slack and have weekly Zoom meetings, but the real ones… I never understood how one could feel part of a team without leaving home, but that’s a topic for another conversation…
Our story:
MaxCoworking officially opened its doors on January 15, 2024, but it all started over a year ago when my team and I began dreaming of creating a different space, one that brings together focused and ambitious people with various professions and interests. We know the inspiring atmosphere of friendship, partnership, and support that can be formed.
What sets us apart? Well, we’re not the traditional professionals in creating coworking spaces – we’re a team deeply immersed in the digital business landscape. The idea for MaxCoworking was born in our small office, where we hosted freelancers and colleagues tired of the “home office” without having a real place for it. We thought, “Why not create a shared office that everyone feels is theirs – personal, warm, and inviting?” And we did it! Whether we succeeded… we are about to find out…
What was most important to us? To create a shared office space where we would work at every workstation.
What motivates me personally? I find it special and inspiring to see people with different interests, professionals in different fields, freely communicating, helping each other, and learning from one another.
